“Life is both sad and solemn. We are let into a wonderful world, we meet one another here, greet each other and wander together for a brief moment. Then we lose each other and disappear as suddenly and unreasonably as we arrived.”—Excerpt from Sophie’s World by Jostein Gaarder
So.. there was this woman (from my country) with her three kids (6,8,10,) was on a holiday in Hong Kong. She was buying tickets, she told her kids to stay put at some place near her. When she bought the tickets, her kids were gone. She looked for them everywhere. She had to go back to her country.
After few days(or weeks), her uncle found out that her kids were kidnapped and brought to Thailand (known as human trafficking) and were killed. Cut the insides of their body, and sold their organs.
“She was a friend of mine. She was my friend. My best friend. But somewhere along the years, we drifted apart, we ran out of things to say. There was no response from her.. and it’s the worst response you can ever get. We didn’t fight that caused us to drift apart. I wish there was a fight, then I would have something to talk to her. I just don’t know what happen. All I know is I miss her.”—The Journal
